1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of IfVoice ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Service Overview

The Service is an AI voice input application for macOS. It provides hotkey-triggered voice recording, local speech-to-text recognition (STT), LLM-powered text formatting, and meeting recording with minutes generation. Speech recognition is processed locally on your device by default. Cloud API usage is optional and at the user's discretion.

3. Pricing and Plans

The Service offers the following plans. Both plans include a 7-day free trial. Prices vary by purchase channel — Stripe direct purchase is cheaper than App Store.

- Pro One-Time Plan: Stripe $27 / App Store $33 (one-time purchase). Includes local speech recognition (12 languages), custom hotkeys, LLM text formatting (BYOK), context-aware text formatting, unlimited meeting recordings (90 min), meeting summaries & export, and large STT models. Updates are not guaranteed after 6 months from the date of purchase. - Pro Subscription Plan: Stripe $5/month / App Store $7/month. Includes all Pro One-Time features plus update guarantee and future cloud integration features (availability to be announced).

Pricing and plan details are subject to change. Changes will be communicated through the Service.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

- Violate any applicable law or regulation - Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service (except as permitted under open-source licenses) - Place excessive load on the Service's servers or networks - Infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties - Conduct illegal recording or eavesdropping - Engage in any other activity we deem inappropriate

5. Intellectual Property

Intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to us or rightful third-party owners. You retain all rights to text and recording data generated through your use of the Service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or merchantability. The accuracy of speech recognition results and LLM text formatting is not guaranteed.

7. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence. In any event, our total liability shall be limited to direct damages and shall not exceed the amount of Service fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms as needed. Updated Terms become effective upon posting on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
