1. Introduction

IfVoice ("the Service") is designed with user privacy as its top priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Service.

2. Information We Collect

The Service defaults to local processing and generally does not collect personal data. Speech recognition runs entirely on your device, and audio data is never sent to our servers.

If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect information necessary for payment processing (e.g., email address) through our payment provider. We do not directly store payment details such as credit card numbers.

3. Voice Data Handling

All voice data processing is completed entirely on your device. Recorded audio is processed in your device's memory and automatically discarded after speech recognition is complete. Voice data is never transmitted to external servers.

4. Cloud API Usage

When you optionally use cloud APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), text data is sent directly to each provider using your own API keys (BYOK: Bring Your Own Key). Data does not pass through our servers. Please review each provider's privacy policy.

5. Meeting Recording Data

All data from the meeting recording feature is stored locally on your device. Recordings, transcriptions, and meeting minutes are retained on your device until you explicitly delete them. We do not access this data.

6. App Permissions

The Service requests the following macOS permissions:

- Microphone: Used for voice input recording. - Accessibility: Used for global hotkey detection and automatic text insertion. - Screen Recording: Used for system audio capture in meeting mode (only when using the meeting recording feature).

These permissions are granted explicitly through macOS system dialogs with your consent.

7. Analytics Data

The Service may collect anonymous crash reports to improve app stability. This data does not contain personally identifiable information. Analytics data collection can be disabled in the app settings.

8. Data Storage and Deletion

All Service settings, recordings, and recognition results are stored on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all local data. To delete paid plan account information, please contact us.

9. Third-Party Disclosure

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as needed. Significant changes will be communicated through the Service. The updated Policy becomes effective upon posting on the Service.
